Is SGS COPPA compliant?

Yes. PROTECTING CHILDREN IS OUR NUMBER 1 PRIORITY. The Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act ("COPPA") requires that we inform parents and legal guardians about how we collect, use, and disclose personal information from children under 13 years of age; and that we obtain the consent of parents and guardians in order for children under 13 years of age to use certain features of our Web sites. We at Synaptic Gaming & Simulation have an internal policy to apply these same requirements to all children under the age of 15.

miShop

If I want to make a purchase in miShop with my miBucks, do I have to have a Visa card or MasterCard card as well?

If an item for sale in miShop has a miBucks (mB) cost listed, you do not have to have a Visa card or MasterCard card as well. Not all items in miShop can be purchased with miBucks.

I was given a miBucks gift card. Do I have to use the card to purchase MiFirst games?

No. You simply register your miBucks gift card into your miAccount. You may use your miBucks gift card for any purchase that allows miBucks or within your games.

How do I sell items I have created in MiFirst games?

When you create an item in a MiFirst game that you want to sell, you must send it to the Sale Barn within the game in which it was created. Your virtual creation will then be made available to anyone who wants to purchase it through the miShop Sale Barn. All Sale Barn purchases are in miBucks only. Once your item has been sold, your net earnings will be deposited into your miBucks account.

How do I purchase virtual creations from other MiFirst games’ players?

You will see all items that have been created by other players that have been placed for sale in the Sale Barn. The creator sets the price. Once you select the item you wish to purchase, your miBucks account will be charged the full cost of the item. That virtual item will then be transferred to your personal file.
